Chenal Pines Retirement Resort

Mom is at Chenal Pines Retirement. The food is fantastic. We love to go join her there. It's a very beautiful facility. It's well taken care of and well maintained. I'm not sure how old the facility is, but they take very good care of it, and they have a variety of activities for residents to participate in and get to know other residents. They have a theater where they have several movies during the week. They also hold church services there. They offer a shuttle service for doctors for two days a week. It's very convenient to hospitals and doctors. Everything is within about 10 or 15 minutes. So, the location is very good, and the facility is extremely nice. My mom is very happy there.

The meals at Chenal Pines Retirement Resort are outstanding! The move-in process went smoothly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Honestly, I think part of this is just Arkansas! I've lived all over the country and these are the friendliest people I've ever met. Mom is very happy at Chenal Pines!

If I ever have to go into a retirement facility, please let it be this one!

I have been the primary caregiver for three elderly relatives over the past decade. As a result, I have regularly visited 4 different local care facilities. A visit to a friend at this facility took me inside. I was immediately impressed with the decor & art, design of the layout and activity options. There were spaces used for an art studio or lectures, a library that invited leisurely chats or friendly board-game competitions, outdoor gathering areas and a wonderful dining room. I took part in a religious service with my friend here as well, which was very special. The staff is welcoming, warm and efficient. The cleanliness is remarkable. To me, there is a genuine feeling of family living here. The joy and friendship among the residents is the utmost sign that they, most importantly, are loving their lives here.

Mom has been living at Chenal Pines for six months. We couldn’t be happier. She loves her living arrangements and more importantly all of her new friends. We so wish we had made this transition much sooner. Mom is 98 years old and looking forward to many more years sharing activities and stories with her new community. She is blessed!

My Mom moved to Chenal Pines 3 months ago and it has exceeded our expectations! She was hesitant about the necessary move, but now she is so happy with her HOME! She calls it "worry-free" living. All of her meals are provided, her apartment is cleaned weekly, transportation is available, all utilities are included. It's also "worry-free" living for me because I know she is around people and she is safe! She has gone from living in a house by herself to spending time with friends throughout the day ... however, when she is ready for her alone time, she can go to her apartment knowing she will not be disturbed. And there is always something fun going on for her to join. The residents are all very friendly and welcoming as well as the staff! This has been a wonderful move for my Mom!

My mother-in-law recently moved in, and she loves it! Lots of activities, food is good, friends to be made. It’s been perfect so far!

We just put my mom here and she's really happy with the management, the food, the activities, etc. Very clean and looks new and clean.

Just wanted to take a moment and reaffirm the award given to Ms. Mary. She is absolutely exceptional! I wish I would have known they were giving you an award, I would have loved to add "the blanket story" to your list of praises. I will never be able to thank you enough for making my Grandfather, John E. Burkett's last chapter of his life so beautiful. With you having her name and undeniable resemblance to my late Grandmother, there's no doubt in my mind Grandpa was meant to be one of your residents, and I'm so very thankful he was. You are simply amazing, and you make it look easy to boot!

Beautiful community, everything was in one building.

Thanks to the incredibly caring staff at Chenal Pines for ensuring the residents were well taken care of during an Arkansas version of “Snowvid” with 20+ inches of snow falling in less than one week, and arctic temperatures like we’ve not seen! Several of the staff stayed onsite all week to feed and take care of the seniors. I had such peace of mind knowing my mom was there and well taken care of since I could not get out and drive in it. Kudos to RLC for hiring such a great team of caring individuals.

So glad my mother moved there 7 weeks ago! It has been a bright spot for 2020 to find such a wonderful retirement community that “gets it” for both the physical health and mental health of seniors. I want to thank and commend the entire team at Chenal Pines! Thank you!

The chef and his team give us a great variety of food, and use their imagination and expertise when preparing. Thank you for making mealtime an enjoyable adventure and for providing yummy food!
